New Haven, CT
Image details

180 York Street, the Art and Architecture Building, Paul Rudolph Hall, the most hated building on campus—whatever you call it, it is unquestionably the most mythic of the modern structures on the Yale University Campus.  Come see what all the fuss is about!

Bottoms Up!  Starting with the ground floor library, visitors will be led through the many public and private spaces in the building to gain new perspectives of Rudolph’s complex section. Today, fully occupied by the Yale School of Architecture, visitors can see the 2008 renovation by Gwathmey/Siegel Associates and will even have access to the visitor’s penthouse and rooftop for panoramic views of the Yale Arts District.

Guide: The tour will be led by Richard DeFlumeri, Senior Administrative Assistant for Lectures, Exhibitions and Special Events.
