In celebration of the city of Northglenn's 50th anniversary, the Historic Preservation Foundation will host an open-house style tour of some of the community's vintage homes. Don't miss this opportunity to join in the community spirit of Northglenn, one of the Denver Metro Area's best kept secrets!
Tour Locations include:
- Deza Estates: A small enclave of stunning custom mid-century modern style homes built in the 1950s.
- Northglenn's first neighborhoods, designed and constructed by Perl Mack enterprises, named “The most perfectly planned community in America” by Life Magazine in 1962.
- Stonehocker Farmhouse, the oldest standing brick farmhouse in Adams County, and listed on the National Historic Register.
The tour will begin at the Stonehocker Farmhouse (10950 Fox Run Pkwy). Participants will receive a guide with historic facts and stories upon check-in, as well as directions to all open homes, and are welcome to tour at their own pace. Please remove shoes or wear tour-provided booties before entering homes.
All ticketholders are invited to a Deza Estates Neighborhood Party from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, in a beautifully landscaped yard designed by Living Earth Designs. Mingle with homeowners and fellow architecture and Northglenn enthusiasts, enjoy snacks and drinks, and take in the stunning views of Denver and the front range.
